Suggested Lab Exercises

Lab 1 - Ping Test: Run ping google.com and ping 8.8.8.8. Compare results - what does it tell you about DNS vs. raw connectivity?
Lab 2 - Check IP Configuration: Run ipconfig. Identify your IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.
Lab 3 - DNS Lookup: Run nslookup amazon.com. What IP address does it return?
Lab 4 - Trace a Route: Run tracert amazon.com. Observe the hops between your device and the destination.
Lab 5 - Flush DNS Cache: Run ipconfig /flushdns. When would this fix a real issue?
